FAQ
1.
What is Artemis Movement Practice?
-
Artemis Movement is a movement technology that makes what is already good better. The work focuses on personal growth through meaningful movement and storytelling, providing strength and agility while also transforming physical and emotional patterns. This enhances flexibility of the whole and encourages each individual to seek wisdom and personal evolution through practice and community.

-
We refer to Artemis Movement as a Postural Movement Therapy which is a practice that builds movement skill and body awareness with Conscious Body Tone plus the Artemis Technology. A deeper understanding of core integration improves overall posture, strength, endurance, and breath capacity.

-
Exercise science maps out three foundational elements of your exercise routine for maximum healthspan: stability, strength training and cardiorespiratory training. Artemis Movement builds on this and has developed a more in depth Movement Wheel that includes endurance cardio (Zone 2), postural stability and balance, strength and resistance, high intensity cardio ( Vo2 Max), springiness and evolved performance over time.

-
Artemis Movement was founded by Christy Punnett in 2021 after 25+ years of intense study and practice in a variety of movement modalities, exercise science, and fascia & anatomical research.
